Three jobs, three products
"Adhesives and hardeners" covers three quite different jobs. Here is what each does, so you can jump straight to the one you need.
Frame adhesives
Two-component adhesives that permanently bond stretched mesh to the frame — the join that has to hold tension through every print and wash. Used when building or re-meshing screens.
Pallet & spray adhesives
Aerosol adhesives applied to the platen to hold garments in place during printing. Choose a standard tack for general work, or a heat-resistant type if you flash-cure between colours.
Stencil hardeners
Liquids that chemically toughen an exposed stencil for extra water and abrasion resistance — essential for water-based and discharge inks or very long runs. Note some hardeners make screens harder to reclaim.

Spray & stick pallet adhesive
A reliable spray adhesive for holding garments or substrates securely on the platen during printing. Clean tack allows easy repositioning without residue — ideal for fast-paced production, minimising fabric movement and misprints.

Camie 375 Spray Adhesive
Heat-resistant spray adhesive
A high-quality spray adhesive formulated for screen printing that involves flash curing. Provides excellent tack to hold garments firmly during curing and resists heat without losing adhesion. Easy to apply for consistent, precise prints across runs.

KIWO Hardener HP
Water-resistance hardener
A chemical hardener that increases the water resistance of stencil emulsions such as KIWO 225WR, KIWOCOL 300WR, POLY-PLUS HWR and POLYCOL ONE-COAT. Strengthens the stencil to extend screen life during high-volume or water-based printing.

What's the difference between a frame adhesive and a pallet adhesive?
A frame adhesive permanently bonds the mesh to the screen frame when you build a screen. A pallet (spray) adhesive is a temporary tack on the press platen that holds the garment still while you print. They are not interchangeable.
Do I need a heat-resistant spray adhesive?
If you flash-cure between colours, yes — a standard spray can lose tack or break down under the flash unit. Camie 375 is formulated to hold through flash curing. For simple single-colour work without flashing, a standard pallet adhesive is fine.
When should I use a stencil hardener?
Use one when you need extra durability — water-based and discharge inks, or very long production runs. Hardeners like HP boost water resistance and screen life. Be aware that hardening can make a stencil more difficult to reclaim afterwards.
Are the frame adhesives suitable for automated stretching?
Yes. Both Kiwobond products are two-component adhesives suited to professional screen-making, including automated workflows. Kiwobond 1100 PowerGrip is the higher-strength, heavy-duty option; 930 cures quickly to reduce downtime.
How much frame adhesive do I need?
It depends on frame size, mesh and how many screens you build. Both Kiwobond products come in 700–750g units. Tell us your frame sizes and volume and we can advise on quantities.
