DTF (Direct to Film) Specific
What is DTF printing?
Direct to Film (DTF) printing is a process where designs are printed onto special PET film with CMYK + White inks, then hot melt powder is applied and cured. The printed film is then heat pressed onto garments, creating vibrant, durable transfers with excellent detail reproduction.
What's included in your DTF packages?
Our complete DTF solutions include printers, RIP software (often Caldera DTF), PET film, hot melt powder, CMYK+W ink sets, heat presses, and comprehensive training. We design packages to provide everything needed for successful DTF production.
What garments work best with DTF?
DTF works excellently on cotton, polyester, cotton/poly blends, and many other fabric types. It's particularly good for dark garments where traditional methods struggle, and it produces soft-hand prints with excellent wash durability.
How does DTF compare to other decoration methods?
DTF offers several advantages including unlimited colours, no colour registration issues, excellent detail reproduction, soft hand feel, and ability to print complex designs economically in small quantities. It's particularly effective for customisation and short-run production.
